I just got my iluv today, and yes it is small. The sound quality is not the same as sound you would get from a Bose speaker (my bff has one so I know the difference). You have to turn it up to at least 7/8 to hear anything but for me thats ok, I only need it for my dorm anyway. The bed shaker is very powerful, it scared the crap out of my roommate when my bed started vibrating randomly as I was fiddling with the alarm system. The only problem on mine is that the forward button is broken and reverses everything. But its working and its cute. My favorite color is blue so everything I have is blue in my room and it matches perfectly. ^_^

Therefore, if you are looking for something reasonable for school that could wake even the hardest of sleepers go for this product. AND if you share a bed with someone else, be reasonable and use your brain. OBVIOUSLY it shakes the bed not just your pillow (which is why its a bed shaker). There is a review complaining about how it woke up the 2 people sharing a bed instead of one and I just shake my head. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

Plus, you can take it on the road because it can run on batteries, which is great for me because I am always traveling.

OK to Wake! Children’s Alarm Clock and Nightlight

My husband thought that this clock was a little silly and thought our son (2 1/2) would be too young for it. But we were tired of having him waking up at 5:30 pounding on his bedroom door to get out. After 2 weeks of using it he now either sleeps or plays quietly in his room until 7am when his clock lights up. He talks about it before he goes to bed how it is night when the clock is off but morning when it lights up. It was a great investment. I only wish that it had a plug in adapter because we have to change the batteries every few days (we use rechargeable) that is the only down side to this clock.

I purchased this for my 10yr old daughter for Christmas(09) I wasn’t expecting much from this given the price and other reviews. I was looking something for my daughter to be able to listen to her mp3 on, and she needed an alarm clock. The sound isn’t great, but not terrible. I doubt any alarmclock radio is going to sound great. It’s not a Bose. It was a little tricky setting the alarm time, there are days on there too. Once we figured it out it wasn’t bad. My daughter is able to use it by herself now. The music is controlled by the mp3 player itself. The only thing you control is the volume. My daughter has been using it now for a month with no problems. The alarm goes off when it should, yesterday we lost power for quite a while and the battery back up kept the time.

This is a very basic mp3 clock radio, hence the price. You cannot expect something thats what 20 bucks to sound great. Some are upset about not having a cd player, I looked at this on many sites and never remember it saying there was a cd player. Just read the discription. Also again it was like what $20.00, if you want something that sounds great I suggest you look elswhere. Like Bose. I mean it is what it is. A cheap clock radio that has an outlet to listen to your mp3 player.
